The Gutai Art Association, which is an art group formed in 1954 and disbanded in 1972, is recently revaluated with the exhibitions held in The National Art Center, Tokyo and Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. It was formed in Kansai region, and among its member, KANNO Seiko (1933-1988, born in Sendai) is the only artist who came from Tohoku region. Her works are composed of accumulations of innumerable straight lines and curved lines with equalized width, and are appreciated as an original form.
In this exhibition, we can be review her execution by 15 works and related materials.
