Iwaki Diecast Co., Ltd. started operations in Miyagi Prefecture in Yamamoto Town in 1968 as the "Iwaki Diecast Plant" - about 40 years in our Miyagi hometown, growing as an all-round die cast manufacturer.

Other than our main factory, there are two other factories set up in Yamamoto Town. There is also the Saitama Factory as well as our company set up in the state of Arizona in the USA.

Having mastered the techniques in the Kansai region, I returned to our Miyagi hometown to conduct operations here. Miyagi has many attractive features, such as climate, access, and so on. Conditions are comprehensively favourable; land can be purchased at a comparatively low price. Given the nature of this company's business, if we consider new enterprises or an increase in orders, the need to secure space is most important. In case we think of expanding our business, the easy purchase of land is one good condition that we think is essential.

Also, when it comes on to human resources, Miyagi is an area where technical colleges and high schools turning out large numbers of new graduates, both locally and from neighbouring prefectures, are gathered. Medium and small enterprises in Miyagi have no difficulty securing the necessary personnel.

As for staff, we do not dare to recruit sales persons. Our technical staff discuss directly with the other party taking orders from us and endeavour to make low-cost high-precision products, taking their needs into account and actively making proposals.

Since human resources development included, in terms of business-to-business exchange and product distribution, Miyagi has several well-developed modes of transportation; airport, expressway, JR and so on, there is no problem gaining access to all parts of the country, and we feel the convenience.  That leads to the production of high quality merchandise and the delivery of products in a short period of time.

The company has expanded, but that was not our absolute aim, it was the result of maintaining an earnest attitude towards the other party taking orders from us.

We are always exploring ways in which we can improve the quality of our products, advance the delivery date and cut costs. We are not considering an expansion into Asia; rather we would like to leave wealth (technology) locally (Japan).

Producing goods with precision that respond to needs is constantly our main objective. With Miyagi as a base, we wish to continue our activities as an enterprise that can make a contribution to local areas.
