KesennumaKesennuma
Kesennuma is a port city that has many types of fish like tuna, bonito, saury and shark fin landing from Sanriku. It is one of the best fishing ports in Japan. Kesennuma has the biggest catch of shark fin in Japan, so shark fin sushi is delicious.
All sushi restaurants serve the real taste of sushi with the fresh fish of Sanriku.
IshinomakiIshinomaki
Enjoy sushi while making an offering to Kinkasan. The Kinkasan-Sanriku fishing grounds is one of the world's three major fishing grounds.Abundant catches make it suitable to be called real sushi.
ShiogamaShiogama
Shiogama is a port city with a lot of freshfish. Skilled craftsmen make them the "Sushi of Shiogama."
MIYAGI prefecture
is located in the north of Japan.
It takes about 1 hour and 36 minutes from Tokyo to Sendai (in Miyagi) by Tohoku Shinkansen.
